Bibliography for Wine Glasses

Here are some related work / bibliography.

Krys Bobrowski – Gliss Glass

The absolutely coincidental original name I found for the Wine Glasses was “Gliss Glass” – which after a bit research turned out to be something similar made by Krys Bobrowski. Quickly – They’re three custom made glass tubes connected to each other from the bottom, and as the glasses raise and lower the water transfers from one to another by gravity.

Absolut Quartet – Dan Paluska & Jeff Lieberman

Something relatively similar, the perfect example of good advertisement and engineering. It has a bunch of awesome instruments in it, but the part that’s related to my work is the glasses that spin on the platform.

Acoustics of the glass harmonica (J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 95, 1106 (1994))

Cool acousticians, making science. title speaks for itself.

Vibrational modes of partly filled wine glasses (J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 119, 3793 (2006))

Amazing paper explaining the modes of glasses. Quite optimistically written btw – they use the term “partly-filled/full” instead of “partly-empty”.
